New model: Honda RC166
After Angus turned my last attempt to build a model into a chew toy, there is no point crying over spilt milk. So; new adventure….
This time I’m having an attempt at what would have to be the most intricate model I’ve ever tried; a Tamiya Honda RC166.
Seriously, every single component is a separate part. It’s insane.
Here is todays progress:
This is the motor partially assembled and getting its first coat of silver
Because the parts are so intricate as small, I decided to paint as much as could on the sprue. I normally wouldn’t do this, but I’ve been able to touch up the cut-off points pretty good so far.
The classic, tiny RC tank getting painted
More engine assembly.
I’ve got pretty much all day tomorrow to keep working on it. Thus far; pretty good 🙂
