Android, take 3, part 2
Its been a few days with the Galaxy S, and thus far going well. (Apart from one connection issue which turned out to be Ike’s phone, post drowning).
The main change I’ve done is roll back to Cyanogenmod 7.1. CM9 was running “ok” and nothing hugely wrong, however it did get a little glitchy so rolling back to the stable CM7.1 seemed like a good idea. BUT… one of the apps I installed into CM7.1 (and had running in CM9) was both Easy Battery Saver and Easy App Killer. CM7 also started running a bit rough, but once I uninstalled these it ran better again (and with better battery life). So it’s entirely possible that these were playing havoc with CM9 also. I figure CM has enough hacks and things built into it that these probably caused a conflict of some sort. I’ve just gone back to Advanced Task Killer and all seems fine.
I still have an extended battery coming tho (3500mAh vs 1500mAh).
